CSGUK Events Task Group update

The CSGUK Events Task Group held their first meeting of the year on the 24th January, at the University of Huddersfield. In the meeting they reviewed the CSGUK 2016 conference held last November, and started to look into developing new models for training, with the possibility of organising a 'Learning Exchange' event. The group also discussed the CSE-STANDARD Networking Group which the Events Group Chair, Helen Loughran, has taken responsibility for. The CSE-STANDARD Group hosts an annual networking event and it is hoped that the link between the two groups will be beneficial to both sets of members, many of whom overlap. The Events Group hopes to meet again in April 2017 to take forward suggestions from the CSGUK Planning Day for the 2017 Conference.
