Customer Services Excellence Networking Event 2017
Customer Services Excellence Networking Event
Date: Thursday 29 June 2017
Venue: Lord Ashcroft Building, Chelmsford Campus, Anglia Ruskin University
The day was aimed at Library Service holders of the Customer Service Excellence (CSE) Standard and those actively working towards it.
We enjoyed kicking off the event with a little bit of networking over coffee, before our first sets of presentations.
In the morning we had presentations from John Thompson from the University of Huddersfield’s Finance Department on how they engaged their staff in CSE process. Lis Hannon from King’s College London spoke about value, impact and CSE accreditation and Hazel Lee from the University of Leeds Library presented on working with other departments to create a “Leeds customer standard”.
Lunch offered more opportunities to share experiences regardless of where we were on the journey to achieving CSE and also the chance to tour Anglia Ruskin University Library.
In the afternoon we heard from Diane Hilton and Norman Boyd from Anglia Ruskin on experiencing CSE at institutional and local level and Sally Bridge from Queens University Belfast on the impact of achieving CSE.
The whole day offered valuable insights from both inside and outside the Library environment.
