Sharon presented on how the Library contributes toward supports its student intakes in three areas; The work of the University of St Andrews orientation committee; Peer support for student orientation; Involving all Library staff in the welcoming of new students
Haley Jenkins, Library and Learning Advisor, University of Surrey
Haley outlined a wide range of Initiatives at the University of Surrey, to make their students feel welcome including: International food and recipes display with books in the library + food ; World map – how far did you travel to the University ; Welcome tea stand – with director and team representatives ; Poetry pharmacy ; Library Tours.
